Regarding my kids growing up

 I don't talk about the kids very often here on my dreamwidth account. Part is because the personal stuff I usually put on my livejournal when I make a note of it. Part is because the kids are often so busy that I can't keep up with all that they do. Today though is a little different.

1. Merlin randomly came up to me and told me that I was beautiful, and that when he grows up wants to find someone that looks similar to me and acts similar. That feels nice.
2. Merlin ate all of the potato chips that had been bought for Athena, not realizing it was the bag specifically for his sister (this had to happen while I was still asleep). The kids talked it out after Athena discovered this (while I was down at the office dropping off the rent). I came back in on the tail end of this. She went back to her room and Merlin sat thinking for awhile. He then asked me if he had enough money in his account to buy her two bags to replace what he ate, to make up for it since she doesn't get that stuff often. Yes. I think that can be arranged.
3. Merlin during the past few days has not fought to have the TV on cartoons much. This means that I've gotten to watch the History Channel things actually on the TV. I missed the Vikings new episode that was supposedly last night, but the day before we got to watch a lot of Vikings.
