So I'm doing my first Read 4 Review on Goodreads in the Never Too Old for YA & NA group here. The post by the group leader has already gone up, and there are 15 slots for 15 reviewers. To be eligible for a free copy the reviewer needs to be a member of the group, provide some info on the post so that I can send them the code, and do the review within the guidelines. I am hoping that I will get some more feedback on Dragon Shaman 1 (Taming the Blowing Wind) and some good reviews...not for a rewrite, but to scout for issues that will need to address for books three and beyond that I might have missed in book one. Book two I will offer later.

I'm already braced for complaints about BlowingWind being too stiff regarding her grief. I'm not changing that bit, because I had done a lot of research and observation on grief, both watching others and analyzing how I had been when my grandparents died (that wasn't pretty). When I lost my dad and watched my mother with her reaction (what I was able to anyway, losing dad even harder...no wonder dad had his breakdown when grandpa died, and another when grandma died), it underscored for me that some people do react the way I'd written.
